Respecting Local Customs and Knowing where your going…!
Travelling, its that time of year when your off on your next adventure! But have you done some research on the place your travelling to? Do you know the do’s and dont’s?
There are 195 countries around the world and each is different from your own, so it pays to know the local customs before you go. Last thing you want to do is annoy a local because you didn’t take your shoes off before entering the temple or pointing your feet at someone during a conversation..
It may seem like no big deal to you but it may offend the wrong person! So it pays to do abit of research 😉
Not only tha but learning some basic words goes along way to for instance hello, goodbye, thankyou and maybe even something special like ‘very good’. Im sure your big brain has enough room for 4-5 words on your trip 🧠
Who knows you may even make some lifelong friends in other countries andthey will love the fact you went out of your way to learn some new words, same as if you met a foreigner in your hone country!
